Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

On 2 July 2021 in a public house in King William Street, City of London, PC Wilson was off duty when he was alleged to have been involved in the assault of a member of staff.

On 9 March 2022 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, PC Wilson was convicted of assault by beating, contrary to section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988.

PC Wilson was sentenced on 29 March 2022 to 10 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months, 80 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay Crown Prosecution Service costs of £775, compensation of £200 and a victim statutory surcharge of £128.
