A Metropolitan Police Officer who allegedly threatened to kill his partner is to face a misconduct hearing
PC Joynal Ahmed based in the Crime Recording Investigation Bureau is alleged to have punched his partner in the face, kicked her in the back and also alleged to have applied force around her neck.
It’s also alleged that PC Ahmed made threats to stab and kill his partner.
A misconduct hearing that will be held on Monday 24th of January will decide if the case against the officer is proved and if his conduct amounted to gross misconduct which could ultimately see the officer sacked.
