Met Officer PC Rudvelle Walters Standing Trial Over Sexual Assault Claim

PC Rudville Walters arrives at Southwark Crown Crown. The trial is scheduled to start today. He is accused of sexually assaulting a domestic abuse victim after turning his body camera off.

A Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) officer is today (Monday 21st June 2021 facing trial at Southwark Crown Court for sexual assault following an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

, 47, who is attached to the North West Command Unit, is accused of sexual assault on a woman on Tuesday 5 February 2019 at a hotel on Wembley High Road, when he was on duty.

Following a mandatory referral from MPS, we investigated PC Walters’ conduct after he was assigned to check on the welfare of a woman who had been reported missing
