Jailed PC Charlie Harrison Facing Special Case Hearing After Assault In Which The Victims Knee was Fractured.

It is alleged that Police Constable Harrison has breached the standards of professional behaviour in relation to Discreditable Conduct and Use of Force.

It is alleged that:

  • On 31 December 2018 whilst on duty, PC Harrison assaulted a member of the public which resulted in this person receiving a fractured knee.

PC Harrison was found guilty of Grievous Bodily Harm contrary to Section 20 of the Offences Against the Persons Act 1861 on 26 March 2021. PC Harrison was subsequently sentenced to two years and four months imprisonment on 12 April 2021.
