Police Constable Gajan Sittampalam Sacked From Met Police

Police Constable Gajan Sittampalam based at South Area Command Unit (SN), answered allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of discreditable conduct.

The allegations concerned the officer’s behavior in Spring 2018 involving a female member of the public with whom he was in a relationship.

One allegation proven at the level of misconduct involved excessive communications and the other allegation at the level of gross misconduct involving a breach of bail conditions.

PC Sittampalam was dismissed without notice.
