P.C Tokunboh Ajibade To Face Misconduct Hearing

It is alleged that Police Constable Ajibade has breached the standards of professional behaviour in relation to Authority, Respect and Courtesy, Equality and Diversity and Discreditable Conduct.

It is alleged that:

PC Ajibade acted in an inappropriate and offensive manner towards a female colleague, making it clear that he wanted to have sex with her.  The colleague made it clear that she did not appreciate his behaviour and rejected his advances.  However, PC Ajibade continued with his offensive conduct and became more intimidating by talking to her when it was clear she did not want to talk to him, repeatedly calling her name out loud in order to make her look at him and standing close to her.

This behaviour is alleged to be offensive, discriminatory and inappropriate for the workplace.

It is alleged that these matters amount to Gross Misconduct, which is so serious that dismissal is justified.

The hearing will start on Monday 1st February 2021 and is listed for five days.
