Summary

PC A, based at CN BCU, answered allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of;

It was alleged that on 27 September 2019 he threatened to kill his ex-wife during an argument inside her home. It was also alleged that PC A made derogatory and homophobic comments to two females who his ex-wife had called to the address to help her.

The Panel, chaired by Mr Christopher McKay, found the allegations amounted to breaches of the standards of Discreditable Conduct and Equality and Diversity, and further found them as proven as Gross Misconduct.

PC A was dismissed without notice.
