It was alleged, in summary, that he failed to act in accordance with his duties and responsibilities, orders and instructions or with honesty and integrity when dealing with two domestic violence incidents reported on 6 May 2020 and 29 May 2020. Further, it is alleged that he failed to follow national guidance on Community Resolutions, created false and misleading records in relation to these incidents and acted dishonestly when discussing the investigation with superior officers.
Finding: PC Greevy was found not to have breached any standards in his response to the incident on May 6, 2020.
The panel determined he had breached the standards of honesty and integrity in failing to fully ask safeguarding questions in the May 29, 2020, incident, but recording answers as if he had asked the questions.
Outcome: The panel ordered PC Greevy to receive a final written warning, to sit on his record for two years.
