Police Constable Owura Kodua-Adyekum, based at Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection, will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:

On 14 June 2022 PC Kodua-Agyekum provided a sample of urine for testing, the sample tested positive for cocaine and benzoylecgonine.

PC Jodie Cole     –     Metropolitan Police Service,

On 6 July 2022 at Colchester Magistrates Court, former PC Cole was found guilty of:

Two counts of wilfully obstructing a constable in the execution of his/her duty, contrary to Sec 89(2) Police Act 1996

The particulars being:

On 30 August 2021 PC Cole failed to disclose to the investigating officer information as to the whereabouts of a suspect wanted for a criminal offence and the details of her contact with him.

Between 30 and 31 August 2021 she claimed that items found during a PACE search of her

On 31 March 2022, PC McCary pleaded guilty to one count of criminal damage, namely that he intentionally caused damage to doors and the floor of Stoke Newington Police Station on 20 October 2021.

On 27 July 2022 at Reading Magistrates Court, PC Hurley was found guilty of:

1 Count of Assault by Beating, contrary to Sec 39 Criminal Justice Act 1988
1 Count of Using threatening/abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment alarm or distress, contrary to Sec 5 Public Order Act 1986

PS Bartrum will answer allegations that they breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour set out in Schedule 3 to the Ministry of Defence Police (Conduct, Performance and Appeals Tribunals) Regulations 2020.

It is alleged that on 9 January 2021 PS Bartrum sent messages to his former partner threatening to burn her possessions if she did not collect them. On 11 January 2021 PS Bartrum’s former partner attended his property to collect her possessions. PS Bartrum spoke abusively to his former partner and one of his housemates, and acted aggressively towards his former partner inside the property. Later, he went outside the property where he spoke abusively to his former partner and pushed her in the shoulder, causing her to move backwards.

During the investigation, it was disclosed that the officer had displayed controlling and coercive behaviour towards his partner. In August 2022 he was convicted at St Albans Crown Court and sentenced at the same court in September 2022.

The hearing is to be held in public.

On the 25th January 2020 whilst on duty, PC Wien drove a marked police vehicle using blue lights and sirens when he had no authority to do so. PC Wien drove in excess of the speed limit, mounted the curb and lost control of the police vehicle, crashing into street furniture.

Following this incident PC Wien gave a dishonest account in relation to the cause of the collision.
