It is alleged that on 23 July 2020 PC Sutton made repeated phone calls and sent numerous text messages to a female colleague whilst she was on duty.

Despite the colleague messaging PC Sutton and asking him to desist, the calls and messages continued into the early hours of the following day. The messages were calculated to make the colleague believe that PC Sutton was going to harm himself. They made her feel overwhelmed and upset.

During one of the training exercises, it is alleged that the officer used racially offensive language in the presence of colleagues.

Knowingly made a false statement regarding contact with his supervisors about the relaxation of the requirement for a face to face meeting with the subject of a Community Resolution due to the Covid-19 pandemic;
Failed to follow Force Policy in that he issued a Community Resolution to a member of the public without making contact with him as was required;
Failed to follow Force Policy in that he failed to document his rationale for issuing a Community Resolution
Knowingly made a misleading statement suggesting he had face to face contact with the subject of the community resolution.

On 26 May 2022, PS Jones was convicted on indictment to an offence of sexual assault, contrary to Section 3 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

It is alleged by the Relevant Authority that the matter set out above is so serious that it amounts to gross misconduct and justifies dismissal.

On diverse days between 26 September 2021 and 14 October, 2021 former SC Mani traveled on the South Western Railway without paying the fare. On each occasion former SC Mani made the said journeys, she produced her warrant card at the ticket barrier, intending the train officials to believe that she did not need to pay the fare. Former SC Mani had been issued with a Met Police Oyster card permitting her to travel without payment on all TFL-controlled services. It was not valid on any national rail service other than those operated by London Overground.

1. PC 166 Thomas Andrews (‘the Officer’) joined Cambridgeshire Constabulary on 5^th September 2016.
2. On 17 February 2022, the Officer was made subject to police bail. The bail was subject to two conditions:

1. 1. Not to attend any location you know or ought to know [A] is attending, except on one occasion to attend [address] with police to obtain property.
   2. Not to contact or interfere with, either directly or indirectly, any prosecution witness(es) namely [A] except by an agreed third party of social services to facilitate child contact.

The Officer was bailed until 11 March 2022.

3. In essence police bail is equivalent to a lawful order and the Officer should have understood them in that way. Any individual that breaches police bail is liable to arrest.
4. On 1 March 2022 the Officer breached both conditions as he attended at the address and made contact with A. The Officer alleged that he had done so at A’s request in order to deliver items to them. This admission was recorded in the notes of the conference that the Officer had attended.
5. On 5 March 2022 the Officer breached both conditions. He attended the address and made contact with A. Police officers attended the address. A lied to them about the Officer’s presence. The Officer attempted to hide but was discovered. He was escorted from the address to his car, he had parked his car away from the address. This incident was recorded on Body Worn Video.
6. On 8 March 2022 the bail was extended until 13:00 on 16 March 2022.
7. At 00:57 on 16 March 2022, as a result of a phone call from members of the public, police officers attended the address. The Officer and A were both there. The Officer was arrested at the address in the presence of A. This incident was recorded on Body Worn Video.

DC 10213 Daniel Arnold     –     Devon & Cornwall Police,

On 16th September 2021 Detective Constable 10213 Daniel Arnold appeared at Bodmin
Magistrates Court and pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. He was disqualified from
driving for 20 months and was fined.
The Appropriate Authority allege that this is a breach of the code of professional conduct namely
discreditable conduct.
The Appropriate Authority maintain that this breach is so serious that it amounts to Gross
Misconduct.

PC Paul Hefford of MO4 and PC Sukhdev Jeer of MO4 and Former Officer Richard Hammond of MO19     –     Metropolitan Police Service,

It is alleged that former Officer Hammond, PC Hefford, and PC Jeer were part of a WhatsApp messaging group that was used to exchange messages, memes, and other content which was inappropriate, highly offensive, and discriminatory. The content was discriminatory on grounds of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation and disability.

It is further alleged that the officers failed to challenge and/or report the other members of the said WhatsApp messaging group after receiving messages, memes, and other content from them which was inappropriate, highly offensive, and discriminatory.

DC 10213 Daniel Arnold     –     Devon & Cornwall Police,

It is alleged that former Officer X assaulted his former partner’s new partner, Mr A.

This followed a verbal altercation between former Officer X and Mr A the previous month.

Former Officer X was arrested for assault, and due to inculpatory evidence suspected to be on his phone in the form of text messages, his personal and work mobile phones were seized and forensically analysed.

Upon analysis, a number of sexually explicit images of himself, taken within the workplace, were revealed on his phone.

In the summer of 2019, the Officer engaged in unsolicited contact via Instagram with a female, Miss B aged 23, he had met in the course of his duties. Miss B worked at Luton Airport. The Officer paid Miss B a lot of compliments. He knew her full name. This made her feel uncomfortable as she had not told it to him.

On 27th March 2022, whilst off duty driving his personal vehicle former Detective Constable Wharmby drove whilst over the prescribed limit for alcohol.

On 13.04.2022, he pleaded guilty at court to driving with excess alcohol and was dealt with by way of a 15-month disqualification from driving and a fine.
