Greater Manchester Police: Investigation launched Following the Death Following Arrest

An IOPC investigation has been launched following the death of a man who had been detained before he became unwell.

GMP were investigating reports of a stabbing on Park Lane on the 9th February. A male was arrested in the area.

Shortly after the arrest, the man became unwell and was treated by emergency services but died at the scene.
