Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

On 19/08/2021, TDS Mark Davis, who was off duty, was involved in a road traffic collision. He failed to stop at the scene of the crash. Police were called and TDS Davis was located. He was asked to complete a roadside breath procedure that showed alcohol in his system above the legal limit. He was later required to provide a blood sample under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act but refused to do so.

TDS Davis was subsequently charged with failing to stop after an accident and refusing to provide a sample for analysis.

On 24th January 2022 at Horsham Magistrates Court he entered a guilty plea for both charges.
