Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

On the 2nd June 2020 whilst on duty and using his police vehicle PC H left his designated patrol area without permission to run a personal errand.

On the 2nd of June 2020 whilst on duty PC accepted an immediate deployment via his police Airwave radio, log 686 categorized by the control room as high risk, but rather than respond to the incident its alleged that PC H continued to complete his personal errand.

On 2nd June 2020 at 16:14hrs whilst on duty PC H  advised the control room, via his airwave radio, in reply to the abovementioned immediate response incident log 686, that he would be free shortly, and at 16:15hrs PC H also stated that “We’ll be coming free very very shortly and then go code 5…” This was untrue, you were free to respond to the immediate call but he continued to run a personal errand before attending said immediate incident.
