Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

In July 2018, PC Brooks-Ashitey declared that she was in a personal relationship with a convicted criminal. PC Brooks-Ashitey was subsequently given lawful orders and instructions by the Metropolitan Police Service in relation to continuing this relationship. It is alleged that PC Brooks-Ashitey has failed to comply fully with the lawful orders and instructions in place. It is further alleged that PC Brooks-Ashitey has provided a dishonest and/or inaccurate account to her supervisor in respect of her ongoing contact with the convicted offender.
