Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

1) On 6th October 2019 the officer took a photograph of an image of a victim of domestic violence on his personal mobile phone. This was not for policing purposes. On 3 separate occasions, the officer shared this photograph with a member of the public who was also a member of his family and retained the photograph on his phone.

2) The officer had on his personal mobile phone two images of a deceased person in relation to an incident in June 2019. The officer retained the images on his phone. There was no policing purpose for the officer to be in possession of the images

3) The officer had on his personal mobile phone two images of a deceased person in relation to an incident in July 2019. The officer retained the images on his phone. There was no policing purpose for the officer to be in possession of the images.

4) The officer had on his personal mobile phone two images of a deceased person in relation to an incident in December 2019. The officer retained the images on his phone. The presence of the images on his personal mobile phone was not for policing purposes.
