Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

It is alleged that between April to October 2021 (a period during which former PC Sabir was a serving Metropolitan police officer), he pursued a course of conduct which he knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of his ex-partner, by repeatedly calling and texting her, loitering around her home address and following her.

On Friday 3 December 2021, at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court, former PC Sabir pleaded guilty to the offence of Stalking without fear / alarm or distress, Contrary to section 2A(1) and (4) of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

On Monday 10 January 2022, at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court, former PC Sabir was sentenced to a restraining order lasting until Monday 9 January 2023.

At the relevant time(s) former PC Sabir was a serving officer with the Metropolitan Police Service. He has since retired and ceased to be a serving officer as of Friday 4 June 2021.
