Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

On 4th November 2020 DI 288 Jason Dunning acted without honesty and integrity and in a manner that brought discredit on the police service in that he knowingly failed to stop at the scene of the accident at the CostCo store in Stevenage.

On 4th November 2020 DI 288 Jason Dunning failed to act in accordance with his orders and instructions, in that he failed to notify the Force Control Room and/or his line manager of his involvement in an accident at the CostCo store in Stevenage

On or about 18th December 2020, DI 288 Jason Dunning acted without honesty and integrity and in a manner that brought discredit on the police service in that he dishonestly stated in response to a notice sent under section 172 Road Traffic Act 1988 that he was not aware of any reportable accident at the CostCo Store in Stevenage on 4th November 2020.
