Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

On 20 December 2021 at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court, DC Bashir was convicted on his guilty plea of having driven a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit. The reading being 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

DC Bashir was disqualified from driving for 16 months. He was also fined £350 and ordered to pay Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
