Circumstances of Alleged Breaches

On 21 December 2021, whilst off duty, PC Reynolds was asked by staff to leave a Birmingham City Centre licensed premises.

Once outside he asked a member of the door staff to readmit him. When he was refused he identified himself as a police officer and subsequently assaulted the doorman.

PC Reynolds was restrained by another off-duty colleague present with him at the time.

The officer was placed in a police van.  PC Reynolds became physically and verbally aggressive towards the officers and he was arrested for a breach of the peace.

The officer was transported to Wolverhampton custody suite. During the journey and upon arrival, he continued to be verbally and physically aggressive and obstructive towards the officers escorting him.
