Breaking: A Bedfordshire Police officer is due to face a disciplinary panel which could see him sacked if the allegations are proved against him.
Special Inspector Ash Harris is accused of making sexualised comments to a junior officer whilst on duty. He is also accused of inappropriately touching another officer also whilst he was on duty and this was alleged to have happened on more than one occasion.
The Appropriate Authority will contend that Inspector Harris has breached Standard of Professional Behaviour namey Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct.
The hearing will be held on the 17th January and be chaired by a legally qualified chair a officer of the rank of superintendent and a independent panel member.
