The matter concerns allegations that a former officer, whilst still serving, was involved in an extra marital relationship with a colleague. On multiple occasions he:

(i) Visited her home address, while on duty, and engaged in sexual intercourse and / or other sexual conduct with her;

(ii) Visited her home address using an unmarked police vehicle without a proper policing purpose and / or for the purposes of pursuing the relationship; and

(iii) Abandoned and / or neglected his duties as a police officer with Humberside Police by visiting her home address while on duty without a proper policing purpose and / or for the purposes of pursuing his relationship with her.

1. Between February 2021 and March 2023, an officer used a Humber Bridge Tag on or around 99 occasions when the crossing was not connected with duties, rather it was for private or domestic reasons.

The officer failed to pay for those crossings, amounting to a total of £133.65 for which they have not remunerated Humberside Police. In doing so, they:
