It is alleged that between 17/06/22 and 04/07/22, the officer using their Dyfed-Powys issued Mobile Data Tablet, exchanged text messages with the mother of a victim of crime, whom the officer had met in the course of his duty.
The number of text messages sent by the officer totaled 259, some of which were highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
In addition, on 22/06/22 the officer visited the mother’s home address whilst on duty, despite him no longer being the officer in the case.
